After listening to three stories we don’t want our audience to settle down for a nap so we asked if Kadodo West African Drums could keep the energy up.
They did not disappoint.
Kadodo West African Drums has a contingent in Dunedin but we were delighted to welcome members from Christchurch who came down to join us at the festival. Drums drew our festival goers out into the brilliant sunshine to see the dancing, the bright, beautiful patterns and head gear sported by Koffie Fugah. It didn’t take much encouragement to get the crowd involved this time. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of West African drum and dance. Want to see it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVTg1GL2i7w
