Have you met Julie Woods?
Do yourself a favour introduce yourself; she won’t mind in fact she’ll even type your name in Braille if she has her Braille typewriter with her. Julie Woods, operating under the handle “That Blind Woman” has a passion for educating people about Braille and a manner that will draw in even the shyest of listeners. That Blind woman shared the story of Louis Braille creator of Braille and her own personal experiences. Then our audience lined up to practise introducing themselves appropriately, and got their names typed up in Braille. Braille is not a language itself, it is an alphabet that allows tactile representation letters and is applied to multiple languages. Julie is currently trying to collect 1 million names in Braille including yours.
