In this modern era storytelling and classical music are left of mainstream, far out into the fringes enough to be part of the fabulous Dunedin Fringe Festival!
If you want to be hip to the alternative crowd and support diversity Around the World in 80 Tales is a chill way to do so. Appealing to all ages this storytelling festival is worth a look in. With stories in 10 languages ( Te Reo Māori, Scottish Gaelic, Afrikaans, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, NZ Sign Language, Cantonese, French and Cook Islands Māori) told by Dunedinites from Around the World you are spoiled for choice by the stories alone!
Don’t want to miss a thing? Bring a picnic to watch RareByrds’ Beowulf, feel the drums of Kia Orana Performing Arts, be spellbound by the Dunedin Flow Artists and enthralled by Peter and the Wolf from Dunedin Youth Orchestra.
See you at Dunedin Public Library from 11am Saturday March 17th.
